High Fade Takes on The Abbey on Last Leg of Twice as Nice North American Tour

ORLANDO, Florida – It was a pleasant Friday evening in the sunshine state, as fans of the Scottish jam band High Fade packed into the venue, many sporting the band's merch. Conversations between fans are being held as they await the night's music. The show was kicked off by Nashville, Tennessee’s rock ‘n’ roll band Dee Oh Gee, who played a mix of unreleased songs as well as tracks from their 2021 album New Way of Life. Attendees were caught dancing and grooving to songs like Be Causing Vibrations and the trios 2025 single 49-50. They ended the set with enormous praise, as everyone was ready for the main act to take stage.

15 minutes passed and the Scotland trio take the stage to a roar of cheers. Lead vocalist and guitarist Harry Valentino welcomes and thanks everyone for coming out. They kicked the night off with a song from their 2024 album Life's Too Fast titled I Hate This Road which was a perfect opener for the night, the energetic audience was ecstatic to jam and sing throughout the opening track. Valentino and bass player, Oli Sentance, took turns going to the edge of the stage to let the crowd hear and feel up close their funky riffs. The band played the incredibly catchy and irresistible track Fur Coat, which saw fans in attendance singing along with Valentino during the chorus of the song. 

Quickly transitioning into the fully instrumental Gossip, where drummer Heath Campbell had an incredible solo that left members in the audience stunned at the precision and speed on display. The crowd showed their stamina during the track Room 634, singing along to the words while the band delivered a perfect performance of the hit. Later on in the set, Valentino took to the mic before the track Bone To Pick to ask the crowd to wave their hands from left to right and sing along. The audience was eager to participate throughout the fun filled track. The set was capped off with The Fly, but the listeners were still eager for more, chanting “one more song!” After a few minutes of faking out the crowd, High Fade returned to their instruments one last time and gave the crowd just what they asked for, playing their most popular song Burnt Toast & Coffee. The Florida crowd erupted in cheers as they were able to boogie once more before the night was done.
