BOSTON – On August 16, 2026 American alternative rock band, Dogstar, brought the All In Now Tour to The House of Blues Boston for an unforgettable night filled with alternative rock music and good vibes.

New York City rock band The Backfires opened the night with a polished set that blended alternative rock with early 2000s indie influences. The performance came just over a week after the release of their second album, Stardust, which added fresh material to the band’s set. Their sound was different enough from Dogstar’s to give some variety without making the pairing feel out of place on the tour.

Dogstar, made up of guitarist and vocalist Bret Domrose, drummer Robert Mailhouse, and bassist Keanu Reeves, performed with the comfort of old friends having fun playing music they genuinely enjoyed writing together. Their chemistry felt natural, and nothing about the performance seemed overly rehearsed or forced. Instead, the three musicians seemed completely relaxed and happy to be sharing the stage again, with over thirty years of history among the members.

The band moved through songs across their catalog, including Lust, Everything Turns Around, Joy, and This Sphere. The Boston crowd remained lively throughout the set, and the appreciation for the band's musicianship was clear. Domrose’s vocals and guitar playing, Mailhouse’s drumming, and Reeves' steady bass playing came together naturally, allowing each member to stand out without overpowering each other.

Dogstar delivered a fun and musically impressive performance without relying on an elaborate production. The group's chemistry carried the show, making the performance feel like three longtime friends enjoying a night of playing music together.
